After a long tenure at Satya Wacana Christian University (Salatiga, Central Java) as a lecturer in the music department and the Academic Dean in the music department and in the faculty of performing arts, I recently relocated to Jakarta to further my musical career.

I am a musician with many hats. The many facets of the field of music (composing/arranging, performances, directing, etc.) are as exciting as the many splendor of music itself. I love being in the academic setting, but I enjoy being hands-on with people in the real world. I consider myself a scholar-practitioner in music. My academic works are informed by field experience and my practical works are academically robust.

My Passion

I am someone who sees the world through music. Life has its own rhtyhm, love has its own melody, God has his own lyrics, and nature provides the accompaniment for all possible beauties that may ensue. That is why I dedicate my life to loving, learning, and teaching music. I'd like to invite you to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of music.
